If you have been using your PC for a long time, chances are that you have noticed a decrease in its speed and performance level. This occurs due to a variety of problems, such as junk files accumulation, disk fragmentation, and registry deterioration, among others. Fortunately, these problems can be solved with such tools as PC Win Booster. It offers you several ways to optimize different areas of your system so that you can recover and keep its original speed and performance.
The program's user interface, however, might be a bit hard to understand at first due to its unusual design. Anyway, once you get used to it, you will find it friendly and easy to use. Besides, the program includes several skins you can change in accordance with your taste.
PC Win Booster allows you to select specific areas and subareas you want to be analyzed. The scan process, however, takes a while when using the default configuration, and it forces you to close almost all running applications including your Internet browsers.
On the left side of the window there is a toolbar that allows you to launch the rest of the tools that come with PC Win Booster. These include a duplicate file finder, a powerful program’s uninstaller, a restore point, and a backup manager. The program also allows you to undo any performed actions, and it includes a configuration window where you can tweak all the parameters related to the program's behavior. A very good addition to PC WOM Booster's functionality that users may find useful is its ability to detect and remove malware programs and rootkits from your system.
Although PC Win Booster brings multiple powerful tools to optimize your system, it also has a few disadvantages that are worth mentioning. For example, the installation process recommends you to close some apps that novice users and even standard ones would not know how to. In my case, I decided to let the program close those apps for me, though I received several error messages afterwards. I managed to install the program anyway, though selecting the "Ignore" command more than once. Besides, the trial version of the program simply scans your system and shows you a report – you need to buy a license and register the program first in order to get rid of detected problems solved. Of course, this makes it very difficult to evaluate the program's real effectiveness.
In conclusion, PC Win Booster appears to be a very good program to fix errors on your system and optimize it. However, you need to buy it to get anything solved. By the way, the $24.95 cost will only buy you a 1-year subscription, though you can also buy the unlimited version for $39.95.
